Villa Dervio

Nice view from the terrace, you can find everything you need in that apartment. Very clean !

You’re renting not the whole place but the part of the house in which owners actually live. It makes some uncomfortable moments. They should write about this in the description because we was expecting only us in that place

We tried different accommodation and travel options - hotels, organized tours, team building. This time we decided to try something new - to rent a villa for five. When we looked at the pictures, we thought it was a very beautiful place. But in reality, it turned out to be impeccable in all respects: location, cleanliness, order, interior, exterior, attitude of the owners towards the guests, etc. The commune of Dervio itself is a quiet and peaceful place. And unusually picturesque. All towns on Lake Como are good, but Dervio is something special. We traveled a lot on foot, and a perfect night's sleep gave us the strength to conquer new heights every day. We have not seen a more comfortable bed in any hotel. The homely atmosphere of Villa Dervio made us feel not as "at home", but at home. Everything was fantastic and fabulous. We didn't want to leave. Many thanks to Rosy, Stefano and all the staff at the villa for making our stay unforgettable! We really want to come back...

The villa is an authentic Italian villa with big rooms and balcony. The view from the balcony is nice - not exactly next to the lake, but the lake and mountains are still visible. The location is good - the village is quite and small, but still there are restaurants and shops not far from the villa. We travelled with car, so getting to Varenna village, which is not far from the Dervio and has more tourist options, was also not a problem for us. Garden is also very nice and beautiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

There were some small things that has served their time and must be updated or fixed - a cupboard and stove in the kitchen, non existent trash can in bathroom, burnt out light bulb in one of the bedrooms...

Roxy was very friendly and flexible, even we arrived late at night. Grazie mille!

The location was great, with amazing views and easy access to nearby cities. The host was very friendly and helpful.

It was really cold at night in the accommodation, which was probably due to the time of our stay (end of April).
