Zumalakarregi Apartment by People Rentals

The apartment is beautiful, roomy, comfortable, and has everything we need. I wish I could stay longer than our 2 nights so I could enjoy the apartment more, especially the beautiful kitchen.

Key lockbox is very hard to read due to hallway lighting. Slow drain in one of the bathroom sinks.

1. The large apartment allowed for a family, or friends group to live easily and comfortably over a long stay. 2. The windows shut out the street noise very well when they were fully closed, especially the double-set windows. 3. The location was FABULOUS! Easy access to bus, metro, tram, walking, groceries, fruterias, panaderias, etc. 4. We loved the natural light and windows of the apartment. 5. The full table and chairs allowed for enjoying group meals. 6. The kitchen was an actual family-style large space for preparing meals simultaneously with another person. 7. Ample storage space for clothing, hooks, racks, shelves were what we needed. 8. The window shades and air conditioning kept the rooms cool during afternoon direct sun heat.

1. Automatic exterior door access didn't work. We waited for a tenant to let us inside, where we could access the house keys from the lock box. 2. The beds are very firm, with no extra bedding provided to allow creating padding or comfort. 3. The queen bed at the far end of the apartment shared a wall with the neighbor's living space, which stayed loud until midnight. 4. A standing fan would be helpful to move/draw the air when windows are open. 5. Kitchen has a metal decorative shelving unit that isn't helpful and should be removed to allow access to the seating space around the table. 6. Washing machine doesn't get cleaned or dried regularly -- the house booklet should include instructions to leave the door open to dry AND the cleaning team needs to sanitize the moldy rim of the machine. 7. We purchased some dishtowels for the kitchen and donated them to the apartment. 8. Both bathrooms should have a small wastebasket. Women need them! 9. Living room could use a lamp or light, perhaps one up high on the shelving to illuminate the room.

We found the apartment very dusty and the beds and pillows very poor and uncomfortable . The area was very noisy at night . Air conditioning very noisy and remotes not all working .

The location is very good. Apartment is spacious, and fairly quiet.

The curtains in the main bedroom are too flimsy/see-through and should be replaced. Cutlery should be replaced or knives sharpened.

The apartment was very pretty. The beds were super comfortable

Bathroom shower was being repaired with pipes exposed and hole in ceiling. They neglected to inform us that it was being repaired and it appears they are not informing guests as another review indicated the same issue. Mechanism to enter apartment initially was not working properly. Only able to enter because of residents entering and leaving the building. Parking garage was difficult to navigate with medium size car. We had damage to our car because of our car size. They need to indicate this in the description of the parking garage. AC remote had dead batteries. Property not clean as there was a lot of dust in the AC units and the debris in the shower from repairs was still in the shower stall. Property promised me a refund for the inconveniences but have yet to issue my refund. Customer service at booking.com is assisting me with trying to get the refund but the property is not responding to their request. I do not recommend staying here as issues that we encountered in our stay from May 10 are still present.

Easy walking location to central Bilbao. Beds very comfy

- not enough hot water for 4 people to have a shower in the morning - very dated (pictures make it look a lot modern than it actually is)

Only 1 bathroom with a shower. The second one was out of order and all walls with pipes broken. We dont understand why Booking did not inform us. No bath We put our 3 months old baby in the sink to clean. Appartement ok but a bit old. Some shutters could be opened only at half. We took pictures and we can show them if you want Happily a parking was included in the booking. Otherwise our choice would have been different. But extremely difficult to reach the second underground floor even with a small car. And we damaged badly the back of car . Please inform the people that the parking is not available with middle or bigger car. We never managed to use the key to have access to the lift for the parking. All the times we walked down and smell was not good!!! Can we say also 1 word about the noise: street is very noisy and every night we had loud music somewhere around till 11:30 pm

The location was excellent and the property was beautiful and very clean!

The bed sheets and pillow cases as well as the towels were not clean. They had a very bad smell- like sweat. Unfortunately, not a pleasant experience.
