Deusto. Piso + wifi internet T. V. y garaje

Very spacious apartment with many rooms and beds, a family much bigger than us could stay there comfortably! We were welcomed by the hosts who were helpful despite language barriers. They left us wine and juice to share which was delicious, and also a metro card that we could recharge and use for public transportation. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was also a washing machine and tumble dryer which was a big bonus!!

The location in town is not great. There is a bus stop and metro close by, but it is in a not so nice neighbourhood and quite far from the touristy parts of town. We also wanted to use the garage advertised but didn’t know it is actually quite a few blocks away from the apartment, not in the same building or street. So it is best to drop your bags off first before parking, otherwise you will have to walk 10 mins uphill with the bags.

Good central location, 5 mins to metro, one stop to city centre, comfortable, well equipped.

Asunción was a wonderful host. Coordination via Whatsapp was excellent and she gave us information about the sights in Bilbao. One of the highlights: a wonderful garage nearby. All in all we very much enjoyed the stay :-)

The kitchen could be a little bit bigger (the bathroom a little smaller ;-) but it had everything to prepare some basic meals. Bilbao however, is not the place where you should be cooking at home too much, since restaurants are excellent!
