Apartment House Andrej

Our apartment on the first floor was spacious. Our children (aged 2,5 and 7) loved the gardens- especially the use of the trampoline and swings! The location is perfect for exploring Lake Bled, Lake Bohinj, Vintgar Gorge and much more. And the view every morning from our balcony looking out into the mountains was wonderful!

The noise from the apartments above and below was tricky at times! We heard a lot of noise due to a lack of sound proofing. And also found it difficult letting the kids play early in the morning as we were worried about the noise being heard in the other apartments.

Big apartment with good facilities. It was easy to cook your own food and relax. We appreciated the washing machine and dishwasher. The kids appreciated the toys, and garden with trampoline and more. A great base for exploring Bled and Bohinj areas, close to the main road with only 15-20 min driving to both.

We had the ground apartment and it smelled a bit like “old basement”/mould. We kept the windows open for fresh air which worked well, but then you can expect some bugs inside. We weren’t bothered with mosquitoes though which was good. The place is a bit old the bedsheets a bit rough.

The apartment was really clean and we had enough room for our stay with two kids. Nomenj is a great place to get just about everywhere you want to be. There is a pretty waterfall in walking distance.

When we arrived (10 minutes after we said we would due to delays at the airport), we couldn't find where to go. We called but it didn't work. It was getting dark so we searched for the doorbell with flashlights. Eventually we called again and this time it went through. We were instructed to go upstairs and someone would come by later. All in all fine but something like that could have been an instruction in a booking message so we didn't have to wait outside, in the dark, in the rain, with two young kids. Another thing was that the sounds from below (we had the top apartment) were coming through super loud. It's fine if you are there as a couple but as a family I wouldn't advise it. The sounds kept running through deep into the night (each night) and the kids woke up a lot.

Everything was very fine, just as expected
