Francy - Partial lake view

The location was awesome and the apartment was beautiful and spacious with all needed thing. Thanks for providing everything as mentioned.

Everything was great except the weather. It was too hot and humid. Next time I will plan during April.

Comfortable bed.

The outdoor chairs were dirty and the terrace was in need of a makeover. The beds were not set up for our party of five and the bunk beds are really in a hallway. Approaching the property you were greeted by trash receptacles and uneven sidewalks. There is no taxi service in town as indicated on the listing. The taxi comes from the next town over which increases the prices. Also there was no tourist card at the property as listed which would have been a substantial savings for our group as we went to several during our 3 day stay in Brienz. The bathroom was too small and the whole property was not worth the price we paid. I checked with a local and she agreed we were over charged for our accommodation.

Location of the property is exceptionally good, not too far from Brienz station but a little up hill which should be avoided if someone is travelling with elederly people. The host of the property is an exceptionally good person, always available on call and whatdapp. We had some minor issues on day 1 which he was able to resolve promptly. He confirmed property was recently acquired or leased by them, so they are making every effort to resolve any issues. There were fresh cherries you can relish as property has its own cherry tree and apple tree.

Apartment is ok if most of the time you are away for sightseeing. Drawing room can be renovated as sofa, carpet and dinning table chairs seems to be quite old but in working conditon. The layout of the house is bit odd for me as entry was via the Kitchen.
