There is no free wifi ; mould on ceiling of main bedroom ; no microwave

The location was excellent being nearly on the Esplanade and the unit was spacious.

Communication. The person I spoke to to arrange where to get the key was very difficult to understand which caused a lot of stress when it should have been a simple process. Eventually she sent me a text which should have happened in the first place. The unit had a smell as soon as the door was opened which was terible in the main bedroom - seemed to come from the bedding and very unpleasant for the 4 night stay.. Also the main bathroom had no exhaust fan which is a necessity in Cairns with the hunidity.

The unit is spacious and well set out. Very tidy and a really well stocked kitchen, which is a big plus when staying for a week or more! The location couldn't be better - right across from all the restaurants and the esplanade and the lagoon is a two minute stroll up the road. Wouldn't hesitate to book again when visiting Cairns.

The 2nd bathroom shower doesn't have a door and no real lip to keep water in. Being an older building the bathroom doesn't have much fall so We couldn't use this shower as it would flood straight out into the hallway. Not a big problem for us as a small family but if you had older children or other adults, this would be very inconvenient.

Great location very close or walking to distance to lagoon, restaurants, aquarium and much more! Great sized apartment for our family of four to move around and be comfortable. The apartment was stocked with kitchen necessities as well as plenty of toilet paper, detergents etc so we didn’t need to worry about replenishing those throughout our stay.

The only negative I had about the apartment was the door in the second bedroom opened out into the complex hallway could not be locked from the inside of the apartment so although no one could get in - I was worried that our younger children could open it and escape. The complex pool was quite cold however that did not present as an issue for us as the lagoon was so close by

Comfortable rooms, great facilities and location

Another sofa for the whole family to relax on would be good as the couch only fits two people and not very comfortably.
