Floriana Villas

It was a lovely villa and very spacious. The facilities were modern and clean. The hosts were very helpful.

The villa itself was quiet, but the hotel next door use the same space at the back to clean up after closing their restaurant, and they are very noisy dropping bottles and slamming bins etc. Most nights they close early, but Friday night they were really loud until after 11.30pm when we finally asked them to be more considerable to their own hotel and to us.

Location was perfect. Walked along the Esplanades every Day into Cairns CBD.

It had everything we needed. Great location, all amenities you could want, including a large kitchen with everything you needed for cooking. Comfy bed.

Amazing service from Luca next door and Deena with a little hiccup with day of arrival. Great location so walkable to attractions and eating venues. Comfortable, lovely layout, secure, spacious, high quality build, linen, kitchen/laundry accessories . Thoughtfulness leaving basic condiments, foil etc. Accessible bbq and pool. Didn’t use but looked so clean.

Proximity to airport as quite noisy some evenings, helipad for hospital access close and noisy at times. Noise from next facility presumably attending to kitchen duties at night.

wanted to share my experience regarding the property I recently stayed at. Unfortunately, it was quite unsettling. During my stay, several strange things occurred—such as the TV turning on by itself and the bathroom lights switching on and off without anyone touching them. These incidents happened around 3:00 AM while no one else was in the house. I tried to explain this to the host, but unfortunately, they didn’t take the concerns seriously or seem willing to listen. Because of how uncomfortable the situation was, I ended up staying only 2 nights, even though I had paid for 5. I had no choice but to change my accommodation. This was a disappointing and distressing experience, and I hope it can be looked into seriously.
