St Ivan Rilski Spa Luxury apartment Bansko & Free SPA

An overall great experience. The room is big enough to accommodate 2 adults and a child, there is a nice kitchen with all needed appliances and a balcony big enough to have breakfast there. Also, we had plenty of towels, robes, slippers and so on. And on top of all that, the hotel spa was extraordinary. In terms of location, the complex is about 10 minutes walking distance from the gondola. The area around it is a bit poor in terms of restaurants, shops and so on, but then again it's not crowded, not many cars, a good place for a "walk around the block". The host was very fast with replying to our messages and we appreciated the restaurant suggestion.

Quiet, clean, probably best value for money, minding the spa, indoor/outdoor pool, food and drinks discounts, kids playground, underground parking, etc.

The hotel is great but does not work with Booking. This is a private people apartment that when you rent you can use hotel facilities. I would recommend renting directly from the hotel website. This apartment is OK for a studio apartment.

The apartment was published as a separate bedroom apartment NOT as a studio. We discovered it only upon arrival. The owner refused to let us cancel the deal and go rent a real separate bedroom apartment from the hotel. He was willing to let us pay "only" half and leave the apartment. I expected booking to help us and they did not. The owner blamed us for not verifying with him his own incorrect description.

The appartment was small for 4 persons, but it was clean and comfortable enough. What really made the difference were the facilities (free access to spa, welness, swimming pool, free private parking and views on the mountains): just amazing!

As said: small apartment for 4 persons - for 2 it's perfect. But everything was OK, so no complaints!

There is a parking in the building

The so called swiming pool, it is very very small and crowded. And when I say small maximum 5 m/2 m . And in there around 15 kids and 8-9 adults. They are like in a bus at a rush hour
