Heerlijk rustige lokatie, prachtig zwembad, ruim verblijf, dichtbij supermarktje en taverna’s, op loopafstand van mooie strandjes. Aardige gastheer en gastvrouw die je snel te hulp schieten. We zouden zeker nog eens boeken.

De bedden lagen niet zo heel lekker.

Sehr schönes Haus im Pilion Stil, die Ruhe, der Pool, alles hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Kontakt mit Eleni war hervorragend, es hat an nichts gefehlt.

The location is very well kept, attractive and quiet. Eleni and Christos welcomed us on arrival and were most obliging and helpful during our stay.

The parking not up to expectations, we had to park at some distance from the site and there is a lack of lighting leading from the main track into the area where the house is situated.

Arrived to be met by the host, who was super-helpful and showed us round the apartment and how to access the Wi-Fi. He then came every day to clean the pool and also cleaned the apartment and changed the sheets and towels half way through our week staying here. The Wi-Fi was actually very good, with two adults and two teenagers able to stream video at the same time - not really sure why this property scores low for Wi-Fi, we found it to be excellent. It even works fine in the garden around the pool area. The kitchen was basic but functional with plenty of kitchen utensils although a few more mugs and small plates would be helpful. Beds were fine and there is air conditioning, but only in the main living space, not in the bedrooms, which were quite hot in the last week of July at around 29C minimum at night, air con would have made sleeping more comfortable. Location was great though - Chorto (or Horto locally) is a small town with less facilities than nearby Milina, but there are a couple of decent beach-front restaurants and a bar and a well stocked small shop on the main road. The small beach is great with soft sand under foot and very safe even for small children.

Very little that we didn’t like, but the air conditioning didn’t really manage to cool the bedrooms in the evenings, so it was still very hot for sleeping.

A very quiet environment on an acceptable walking distance from Chorto village. The combination of 1 villa and 2 apartments works well: If you want contact, it is possible. If not, it is also possible. The swimming pool is not particularly big, but is just what you need. The walk to the beach allows you to go for a fantastic longer swim over there. You have a couple of good restaurants in Chorto. We also made some nice walks in the surroundings of Chorto. The owners/staff are really nice and friendly people. And not to forget: The region is very beautiful.

Some of us were disturbed by the mosquitoes (only in the evening hours). And the mattresses in the second bedroom were a bit too hard for our children.

The house is a full-on Greek Mediterranean experience. And the hosts, Christos and Heleni, are wonderful people always making sure you are well and have the best experience. The village is small but has good restaurants, and it's a magical place during sunsets. We loved Pelion, loved Horto, and the Wonderfull house. We fully recommend this house !!
