"All in all a great time but shame about last day"

Position

Our last day in Darwin was a bit of a waste as we had to be out of apt by 10.00am which is ok but the Oaks staff said we couldn’t store luggage for any time for us as we were in priv apt. Our flight not until 4.00pm so had to sit around until then with luggage.

Spacious and comfortable apartment. Host very accessible (we ran out of dishwashing liquid and quickly replaced). A family member decided to join us for a couple of days and while there wasn't a bed for them we were left extra sheets for the couch. Amazing view of Darwin Harbour and sunsets. It's in the Oaks Elan complex so restaurant on site and staff at desk helpful also. Given the price of accom in Darwin this was good value.

The second bedroom has no view but it's a bedroom so no drama really. Lifts could be a bit slow at peak times. Very little sun on the pool area (but a great cool temperature)

In the second bedroom the curtain aimed at reducing light from the corridor needs to be replaced with an effective blind that blocks the light.

Great location. Separate bedrooms. Washer/dryer. Balcony views. Car parking included, secure. Spacious. Comfortable bed & pillows. Communication was excellent.

Single beds in one room would have been fabulous. Freezing cold pool.
