The. Stairs. Only a minor irritant

The location was very good, it was very clean and the lounge comfortable and the kitchen well equipped.

We felt that the spiral staircase had a few supporting strut issues. The refuse in the common lobby smelled horribly. The twin bedroom bedside tables need screws tightening - very unsteady. The bathroom lock is difficult.

A very spacious apartment, on two floors, with the sleeping accommodation, bathroom and washer on the first floor connected internally by a spiral staircase, and additionally by a conventional staircase off the communal hall. The location on a quiet square is convenient for the river and the main shopping street. The kitchen, dining and lounge areas are well laid out and we felt immediately at home for our 2-night stay. There is a toilet on the ground floor which is good, as getting up and down the spiral staircase is quite tight, and we definitely recommend you use the communal stair route for luggage!

Unfortunately the beds were the least comfortable of our 10-stop tour. We would suggest investment in wider and deeper mattresses, and better quality pillows and bedding, at which point Le Patenier would represent a very good value self-catering option in Dinant.

We loved everything about this property. It was comfortable, cosy, and spotlessly clean throughout: from the bedding and bedrooms to the bathrooms, dining area, kitchen, and lounge. The property was close to the river and close to the center.

The only downside to the property was the lack of kitchen equipment. For a place that accommodates up to six guests, and potentially more during the day, essentials such as cutlery, crockery, and cooking utensils are absolutely necessary. This also includes basic items like baking paper, aluminium foil, oil, spices, and suitable cooking dishes. Given how spacious and beautiful the property is, it’s a place guests naturally want to enjoy to the fullest. With its location in a lovely town, guests are unlikely to dine out every evening, so having a well-equipped kitchen is important to allow them to cook comfortably and make the most of their stay.

The kitchen was a bit sparse, but otherwise good.

Die Lage ist perfekt. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war ausschließlich digital aber sehr unkompliziert und freundlich, die Gastgeberin war immer zu erreichen. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist prima - es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Wohnung war bei Übernahme sehr sauber und wirkte sehr gepflegt.

In der Küche fehlte uns eine Teekanne, eine „normale“ Filter-Kaffeemaschine hätte ich besser gefunden als das Kapselmodell. Kapseln waren allerdings zur Verfügung vorhanden. Die Matratze in einem Schlafzimmer war sehr weich.

Rémy ist ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber- wir kommen gerne wieder ! Die Wohnung ist super gelegen, die Parksituation sehr entspannt!
