Sunset Lake Como con balcone vista lago

I can't say a bad word about the apartment as I never enetered it.

We booked the appartment 30 mins before the arrival as we liked the quite area and the view and had to sleep somewhere foe one night. When we arrived and parked - the host told us that the street will be closed for renovation, for cars and pedestrians from 07:30 am so we can't leave the car at the parking ( which was an important croteris while booking), and that we have to park downhill super far .the road is narrow and steep, like about 30-40 °. We had suitcases and couldn't take them that far in the morning. And it could be not safe and dangerous to walk on a narrow and steep renovation area. Also, there will be very noisy , that means we couldn't sleep. I asked politely to understand the situation and to cancell the booking, because we didnt booked in advance , we booked like 20 mins before the arrival, so anyome else could have been booked it before us. Also I told her that I understand that the street closure Is not her fault. Unfortunately The host rejected my request and said that its non of her problem. This is very exhausting and unnaceptable.

Wow! A magical stay with a magical view of Lake Como from the cosy balcony, which was a clear highlight of staying at this accomodation. The apartment was lovely, clean and modern, with a fully equpied kitchen (tip! Get groceries from Como town and cook your own dinner and eat it on the balcony. Lovely! ) and a small, but quite fancy, bathroom. The shower was great - good water pressure and a rain shower. Flexible check in and good instructions from the host. Would definitely want to come back!

Small things - the bed was too soft for us, and was maybe a bit worn and had poor support, causing it to bow in the middle. Parking could be a problem at this location, but we had no problem at all! Maybe we were lucky. There was an extra tourist tax (8 euro) that requiered cash. We didnt know of this beforehand, but maybe we had missed it when booking.

It was a little cold, could not control the heat.

The decoration was nice and clean. Nice view.

Mattress was very uncomfortable. Sheets should be white as well as towels. Pillows weren’t comfortable either. Impossible to get there without GPS.

Appartment is fully equipped so you don’t feel yourself disadvantaged. This appartment worth to rent for few reasons 1) Breathtaking view on Como Lake 2) Appartment is fully equipped with everything you could need for kitchen or regular day-to-day needs like iron or hairdryer, have coffee machine and small mini-bar (for additional payment, but this can close some of your urgent need of wine or champagne). 3) Very stylish design of rooms with good taste 4) Candles which make atmosphere very romantic and you can seat on balcony, drinking coffee or wine with amazing view on Lake
