Apartamentos Casas Colgadas

The location was great, and the host met our bus and walked us to the apt. Kitchen was well appointed, even had good cookies.

Main bed was not very comfortable. The apt was freezing the first night, but the second night was okay.

Lovely helpful owner who has pride in his properties. Charming location. Everything in the stunning old town is easy walking distance. A nice 30 minute walk down to modern town. Excellent well equipped kitchen ( but except for restaurants, no grocery availability in old Cuenca unless you brought it with you, even for simple bread or milk for coffee or tea). Comfortable seating area, bedroom. Loved the breezes coming up into the bedroom at night from the valley below…even over your head in bed. Very well coordinated key pickup and help in arranging a taxi for us on early departure. Good selection of restaurants in old town.

Not problems, but tips. If coming by bus or taxi from train-station, map your final 150m walking route carefully in advance. Quite confusing at first, then simple once you know. Taxis very inexpensive, bus reliable.

No washing machine, no hooks for kitchen towels, need more hooks for bathroom towels

The terrace was spacious, with beautiful views. Felix organised parking for us and gave us a lift up to the apartment on arrival.

The kitchen is adequately equipped, but we would have liked some wine glasses and a kettle. The sofa is very uncomfortable, but fortunately it was warm enough for us to sit out on the terrace. We knew about the steep climb up to the apartment at the time of booking, but it definitely makes life difficult.
