The apartment was very clean and kitchen reasonably equipped. Usual stuff two ring electric hob kettle toaster crockery and cutlery. The owner was very nice and accommodated my early arrival. The view being at the top of a steep hill was well worth it if you one of the two top floor apartments.

Location is at the top of the steep hill to the main village by the sea. It's a steep walk and if you have mobility or respiratory/heart issues you would need a taxi to get back up the hill which I got ripped off for 10 euros for less than a minutes ride up the hill with my shopping. There is an adjacent plot currently being excavated for a new building so heavy machinery jack hammer grinding all day into rock reverberated all over the building and loud noise to go with it difficult to relax. Also work was being done at the property which also created noise disturbance. Television didn't work. Hot water tank cold in the morning so a tepid shower in the morning. Once the new build immediately adjacent is built and the issues above are fixed it's fine, if you are young fit and able, place to stay. Generally Croatia is one of the most expensive places in Europe to visit which is now a put off for me.

Great location, close to the centre. Wonderful sea view from the balcony. The apartment was much better than expected (newly renovated). The hosts were very hospitable and nice. They responded to our requests and provided what we needed (beach towels). We can truly recommed this apartment and Cavtat. We enjoyed our time in this picturesque place.
