The location was great and had free off road parking allocated. The owner had provided thoughtful extras like tea bags and plenty of towels.

Before we got there we had agreed with the owner that we would arrive at 14:00, but then had a message a couple of days before that we couldn’t be let in until 16:00 which was a problem as we had already planned our route and would have meant being sat by the side of the road for two hours. The owner did then change it to 15:00 but it was still an hour wait. We chose this accommodation as it said it had a washing machine so we could get some washing done halfway through our trip. Once we arrived I asked by WhatsApp where the washing machine was to be told it was broken. It would have been nice to have been told this in advance as I may have booked somewhere else as we needed to wash our clothes. Bit disappointing really. I did say this to the owner who then said it was really hard for them too as they had to sort out a repair (not quite sure why I needed to know that?) The apartment is also really busy with lots of bits and pieces on most surfaces so it’s quite hard finding where you would put things. Also there is an outside balcony which at first seems lovely but then there is a neighbour smoking outside on his balcony and the smoke ends up filling this apartment if you have windows open.

Meget centralt og roligt, lejligheden ligger på bagsiden, så ingen støj fra vejen. Super rent, god seng, ingen mangler 👍 Dejligt med elevator, ligger på 3 sal 😉

We had an overall great stay in this fairytale town! Looks like photos, comfy bed and furniture, kitchenette and plenty of dishes/utensils, cooking supplies. Bathroom could use an update but has lots of hot water and is clean. Mountain view, near the river. Elevator for use. Washing & drying machines on 1st floor. Easy walking into the city center for sights, dining and shopping! Penny grocery about 5 minutes walk from apt. Always felt safe walking from city center to apartment even at night. Secure building.

Misunderstanding on our arrival date/time but Anna was very apologetic and left a sweet note/gift for us on our last night.❤️ The internet can be slow/intermittent at times. Can hear neighbors talking and sometimes difficult to leave windows open due to neighbors smoking and drifting inside (no fault for host, just Germany in general).

The apartment is near the center of Cochem but still a very peaceful and quiet area. The building has its own private parking lot with a spot for your own car. The apartment is super clean and well maintained and anything one might need is accounted for. From first aid kit to egg cooker. It felt like a home away from home. Anna is a kind person and an amazing hostess. It was my first time staying in an apartment and I'm grateful for Anna's support.

The host was very helpful in any situation that occurred. Aside from that the contact between us was good but not too much. I have no comment whatsoever on the apartment, it was the best place I've stayed at so far. Everything was extremely comfortable.
