Prefer more comfortable sofa/additional sleeping cushions

Spacious bedroom. Very clean and homey. Nice outdoor space area with table and chairs.

The sofa bed was too small and totally uncomfortable even for the kids

Ease of getting from A to B

A couple of things pointed out to Owner.

Location was perfect! 5 mins drive from my parents house and town centre but while being in the countryside. Amazing give comfy warm and perfect for a weekend stay

Only additional thing that would have been helpful would be a small freezer to store ice cream or ice lollies but no deal breaker x

The place was spacious and quiet. There was plenty of parking, the TV/netflix combo was wonderful and the shops and servos were nearby. This is an easy recommendation if you need a few days to rest, recuperate, and plan the next few days of your adventure.

During my stay the house did get a bit cold and I didn't understand how the radiators worked (I've never used them before) luckily an electronic heater was provided which I was able to figure out. I would have liked to have seen an instruction booklet/welcome pack that described how to operate the important bits (radiators/heaters/oven/stove/etc.) The bathroom was lovely and clean but it wasn't too appealing using the shower gels/shampoos/etc. offered. I ended up using my own products. If possible, it would have been nice to have fixed dispensers in the shower or better containers for the products than the ones they came in. These are just some things to consider. All in all I had a restorative and enjoyable stay.

Layout of room, location, facilities

Excellent base for a solo traveller or a couple to explore the local coast, countryside, mountains, settlements or heritage sites. Has almost everything that is required for a comfy / homely stay, and an amenable host on site. :-) Generally very good...and one of only a handful of places that I intend to return to.

The property was just a bit dusty/ cobwebby in a few corners, but otherwise it was clean and well facilitated. The only other slight negatives were the lack of straightforward terrestrial TV set of channels [BUT it did have lots of apps! :-) ] _ and my main recommendation for the first thing to improve ,if I had to say, would be the sofa.... which had little in the way of seating support and the property would benefit from it being replaced. It wasn't the comfiest for one...sat in the middle, and would probably have been quite uncomfortable for two!
