Excellent location and lovely decor style. Well equipped kitchen, brand new, and bedrooms and living area were comfortable and spacious. Both gas and coal braais available and garden and pool area good. Staff excellent and accommodating. The main bedroom had a brilliant window seat and corner aspect view over the gardens and the ocean which made for a perfect reading spot.

Due to a burst pipe, we were moved from 1 Licorna to 2 Licorna and number 2 still hadn’t quite had its refurb completed. Air con didn’t work in one of the bedrooms and we had some issues with getting showers to flow and toilets to flush properly. Staff were great in getting plumbers and engineers to look at problem but due to needing parts, air con wasn’t fixed during our stay. A wall in living room needed painting after recent re plastering and a mixer tap for shower over the bath needed to be connected; however, all of these were small details which I am sure would’ve been addressed before officially letting the property. The fact that we were transferred from 1 Licorna to 2 Licorna so our holiday could proceed as planned was a bonus in itself. Owner and staff on site were super helpful and doing best in an unforeseen situation.

The location and cleanliness of the property was a good one. The safety in the environment and amenities were sufficient for a 3 days stay. We will be back.
