Robin's Nest (Top Cabin)

The cabin was really clean and warm. Everything we needed was provided and we had enough space for us and our small dog. The local area was great and easy to walk to the local pub. There are so many great walks around the cabin and we'd love to come back to the area to try them all.

We loved using the hot tub, but it did take about 4h for us to heat it up on Friday night (partly because the fire went out at one point which was our fault). I don't think there's much that can be done to improve that from the owners, as obviously it's a fire-heated hot tub, but maybe it might be helpful for other travellers arriving in the evening to know that they are unlikely to get much time to use it if it's taken so long to heat up. Otherwise everything else was great.

Beautiful location, amazing cabin which is fully equipped and makes the most of the space. Host was very helpful in the booking process.

Having to pay extra for the hot tub was fine but £65 seems too much, especially considering we had to heat it ourselves and it took 3 hours. This meant that arriving at 4 (check in time) we weren't able to get in the tub until after 7.

Location

Beautiful peaceful setting. The cabin had everything you could need, bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was a welcome treat after long walks. We didn't use the car as there were some great walks from the farm.

Beautiful cosy little cabin in a beautiful location.

Everything! Was worried that the bed was going to be small after reading previous reviews. My partner is 6ft5 and I am 5ft2 and had read reviews that the bed was either too small or too tall but it was perfect and we both had a good nights sleep. Hosts were amazing and responded quickly to my requests and even went out of their way to get a bottle of Prosecco that I requested for my partners birthday (payable). Everything was wonderful so thank you! Can’t wait to come back.

There was nothing we didn’t like. Only thing that would improve it would be some outside hooks for coats / wellies and robes around the hot tub, not a complaint - just feedback.

Great location, lovely property and everything you could need. Loved the short walk from the property and even better walks a short drive away. We will be booking again and bringing the pup.
