Luisa apartments, Coastal escape on the Amalfi Coast!

The view from the balcony is just breathtaking! The place is really clean and the hosts are very friendly. We’ve received limoncello as we’ve arrived and Luisa’s mom explained everything to us. Luisa(the hostess) recommended restaurants in the neighbourhood as we’ve arrived late. Shoutout to Vincenzo who offered and brought us to the best pizza in town!

Incredibly peaceful, idyllic, stunning views from the terrace; a 30 minute walk down to stunning Fiordo du Furore; bus stop next to property takes you to Amalfi within 20 minutes, from which one can take the 15 minute ferry to Positano. And an amazing Italian restaurant right next to the SITA bus stop. Luisa was so responsive to any questions and needs we had before and during our 5 wonderful days in her immaculate, comfortable apartment, which was exactly as pictured.

Nothing

The patio overlooking the coast is fabulous. It was quiet and beautiful and a nice break away from the very busy ports of Amalfi and Positano. The apartment is wonderful, big and comfortable and the hosts could not have been better. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would definitely stay there again. The Sita bus stop and market and coffee shop are only 10 min away walking. The bus is an easy way to get into Amalfi which is the center to go other places by either bus or ferry.

The buses fill up so I would recommend a car. Their is parking onsite (free) and even if you only use it to/from the airport it is worth it as the cost to get to the Amalfi coast is high (150-200 Euro for private car). There are also wonderful cooking classes and other places you can drive to. Luisa is very helpful though and can arrange transport for you. Her whole family are welcoming and helpful. The lemoncello her mom brought was another special touch.

The location and owners were great.

The place is huge, its would be good for family with kidd. Views are amazing. I did not have chance to meet Luisa personally because she just had baby day before my arriving, but she was so responsive for any my questions even despite she wasin hospital.Couple of restaurants are walkable from place and they much better / private / amszing food than in towns, where lot of tourists and tourist traps.

Not about place, but driving/parking in Amalfi coast are very challenging especially after US roads. So if you are not formula pro driver, maybe use bus system. We had car and one person in group was pretty great driver, but you have to be comfortable to drive inch from bus on roads.
