Residence Mont-Blanc Poolhouse

Outdoor space, cleanliness of the property, its location in a quiet neighbourhood with good access to the train station and supermarkets. The price.

The pool was too cold. The access to the property is through a covered carport/garage that is used for the storage of building materials. Cracked tiles around the pool. Limited worktop space in the kitchen.

Access to the washing machine and dryer. Important after the TMB tour.

I would strongly advise against booking this apartment in Geneva. Our experience was extremely disappointing and absolutely not worth the nearly €200 we paid for one night. The apartment is located in a basement, and the moment we opened the door, we were hit with a strong air freshener smell trying (and failing) to mask the presence of mould. The smaller bedroom had visible mould all over the walls — completely unacceptable and a serious health concern (photos attached). The larger bedroom had a broken bed, making sleep uncomfortable. Cleanliness was far below any reasonable standard: the shower cabin was poorly cleaned with mould in the tile grout, and the sofa in the main bedroom was dusty with visible dirt under the cushions. It was clear that the apartment had not been properly cleaned or maintained. To make matters worse, the host started a barbecue during our stay without informing us, and all the smoke poured into the basement apartment — an inconsiderate and disruptive surprise. The information booklet in the room states that the villa is a family-run business, not a hotel — but we received a cold welcome and no goodbye. To top it off, the owners ask guests to contact them before leaving a negative review, which feels manipulative and inappropriate. Honest feedback should never be discouraged. In my opinion, it should be illegal to rent out an apartment in this condition. The experience was unacceptable from start to finish. Please think twice before booking this place.

Nice location if you don’t mind 5-10 min walk to tram or 3-5 min walk to bus out the back gate It had a good laundry machine. The beds were good but low to the ground. Kitchen was well stocked

It was very hot time in Geneva. Additional fans in extra bedroom would have been great. Screens on windows would keep out the flying insects.

Bright accomodation with fabulous pool. Location good with local bus to town nearby.

It is a little place in paradise.

The location was great and very handy for all of us for walking and see Geneva's beauty. The host was very polite and friendly giving us extra comfort than we were expecting. Will definitely come back again x

Nothing to complain only positive things

The property was well equipped and had everything we needed. It is located in a a very pleasant suburb of Geneva. The owner was friendly and their two dogs run loose around the property (fine for us as we are dog owners and they were friendly). The property was clean and tidy.

There was mould in one room and damp in both bedrooms (we measured 85% humidity). Fortunately it was hot whilst we were there but this did affect one of our party. The bathroom is off one bedroom and therefore difficult for the occupants of the other room to access, particularly at night. There was another bathroom outside the flat (shared with other rooms) but this was locked after the first night of our stay. In the main bedroom the mosquito netting had holes and there were ants. The door to the main bedroom is glass and the light outside is automatically triggered so anyone in the other room getting up can’t help but make lots of light.
