MyPlaceLisbon - Luxury Castle Apartment

Amazing Location. A deluxe, large, modern apartment in the middle of an ancient castle. Peacocks on the patio, live music all day long. Many tourists, lively ambient. Antonio the host is cool and very helpful.

Some details need refurbishing but not too bad. The patio seating is in pretty bad conditions. But the patio is nice and big.

The crockery and glassware wasn’t great. Many weren’t clean or were broken, and there were only two wine glasses (for a 6 person apartment)!

the apartment was magnificent, perfect location with bus into city centre very near by. Very modern and very comfortable

all the taps in bathrooms including shower heads malfunction and were leaking including main toilet. Not enough hot water to shower if two people wanted to have a shower

My family and I (parents and two children) immensely enjoyed our four-day-long stay in the apartment. The location is ideal, though it is on a hill, therefore most transportation won't take you up the whole way, but it's only then a few minute walk up a rather steep incline. This wasn't a problem for us though! The apartment itself is very spacious. The living room is the best part, with a huge couch, an abundance of natural lighting due to many floor to ceiling windows, and a large TV. Kitchen was fine had all the appliances, such as a coffee machine and microwave, but for some reason lacked any cutlery. You can find a set of big knives and serving spoons but nothing else. I think this can be easily adjusted later on by the owners. There are three bathrooms, two of which had baths with a shower, which was very convenient for all of us. (No one had to wait!). The bedrooms are also very nice and have sufficient storage areas for clothes. Attached is a beautiful, large balcony with a stunning view, a lovely sitting area and you get lovely guests (peacocks)! All in all, we really enjoyed our stay in that apartment. There are nice souvenir shops nearby and nice places to have breakfast on your way to the Rua Augusta.

Cutlery is needed for the kitchen. Ensuite bathroom's door needs to be fixed.

Location and space were excellent. Perfect for 5/6.

The terrace could be a real feature but it’s very tired and in need of cleaning and new furniture. There were also a couple of cracked glasses and mugs. Why?
