Condessa Doll's House

Loved the location. An easy 8 min walk from the train station. Close to all of Lisbon’s main city center sites and restaurants. Liked having a dining room separate from the kitchen. We had 4 adults and one child and this was a nice perk for us. Plenty of kitchen utensils to cook a meal if you don’t plan on eating out every night. Maria was proactive in reaching out to us prior to arriving and even allowed us to check in a little early. This was greatly appreciated.

The beds were a little stiff and we could’ve used an extra pillow. The bathroom sink was slightly clogged and took a while to drain. The walls were pretty thin so you can hear people walking up and down the steps in the hall. But that only concerned us when trying to get the baby to sleep. We considered most of these just minor inconveniences and just come with the territory of staying in what is probably a 200-300 year old apartment.

Great location and typical quirky Lisbon apartment. Quiet location and close to metro and nightlife.

There was no AC, although I think this is true for all places in the area.

Loved the property but really loved the care that Sophia and Maria gave us. Wonderful young ladies!!

Loved the quirkiness of the apartment and it was an ideal location for our needs. Small but clean and contained everything we needed in a quiet street.

Steep stairs up to the apartment and we had difficulty turning the door key on a number of occasions. The cooker was too high to use , but we didn't need it as we ate out every day. The beds were clean but the mattresses were hard.

No heat, freezing cold rooms with 2 little space heaters for the whole apartment. Very uncomfortable temperature and the host gave a reason that there isn’t heat In Portugal. I said think that should be said in the details of the apartment for winter rentals. The street noise was loud. The ride from the airport charged triple from an Uber and the host recommended it. I think the host was rude.
