Close to a bus stop to take you to the old town

Where do I begin? As soon as we lug our belongings up to the room, we are greeted with a foul pungent smell which lingered despite our best efforts to rid it though windows being left open and aircon put on. When contacting the owners about the smell using the number provided on booking.com, we were told that this number was one of the previous owner. We went back and fourth with her trying to help us organise a taxi and find the current owner. We tried emails to booking.com, calling and texting the previous owner. This took multiple days to figure out and receive a response from the correct owner, by this point we had already left and were checked into another place on another Greek island! When we put a load of washing on, we went out for dinner and came back assuming our washing was finished. When we had turned on the lights and everything, we opened the washing machine door and water flooded out all over the floor and onto important belongings that got destroyed. We had not been notified about this malfunction by the owners or even contacted at all as previously stated. When I finally did receive a message from the owner, Mari, the message was rude, abrupt and defensive. Mari said they had called us many times and for us to please contact them and that usually they are contacted through the website which is what we had tried. When I asked how they had been getting in contact when we had been provided the wrong number, the message was ignored and no apology was given. I don’t usually write bad reviews, but this was unacceptable and had the owner apologised and offered compensation we would have not written this review.

Der Empfang war sehr herzlich! Vom Studio waren wir dann sehr begeistert. Alles schick, neu wirkend, sauber und mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet. Von vorne bis hinten durchdacht und gemütlich. Die Lage auf Kanoni ist prima. Klare Empfehlung!
