The accommodation was advertised as having a proper bed; however, it actually had a sofa bed, which was very uncomfortable. The pictures provided on booking do not show the bed properly or what type of bed it is. When I raised this issue with the owner, he stated that he wanted to help but did not offer any practical solution. Instead, he repeatedly insisted that the accommodation had a “proper 2 m bed,” without acknowledging or attempting to understand the actual concern. Initially, I thought the issue might be due to language or communication difficulties, so I offered to speak by phone and shared my number. He did not call me back, and when I tried to call him, there was no response. Later, he made comments such as, “No matter what I do, the feedback will be bad. But maybe the problem is not the bed…”, which came across as unnecessary and personal rather than professional. In addition, the bed covers were unhygienic and visibly dirty. When I informed him of this, he appeared to suggest that I was making the issue up, rather than addressing the concern. Overall, the experience was disappointing—not only because the accommodation did not match the description, but also due to the lack of effective communication and professionalism in handling legitimate concerns. I am surprised that some of the reviews say that the place is clean, I found it to the contrary. I do not want to speculate but it may be that some reviews are either paid or made up. I have added pictures from the accommodation for future travelers to have a proper view of the place.

Posizione tranquilla ma vicina al centro con parcheggio nel cortile interno. Appartamento abbastanza fornito, pulito e caldo dotato anche di lavatrice.

Švara, tvarka, buvo visko ko reikia. Labai puikus butas, saugu. Rinkčiausi dar kartą.

Very nice and cozy place! Next to the centre of the city. Good that host have permission to stay with pets. Only one thing was not clear, as the city fee is not included in the price, so you have to have some physical money for this to pay, plus for pet fee, which is quite okay to do so, but just for info. In general, it was very nice stay, for sure we are choosing this one next time when in Kaunas!
