Mama's House

Very spaceous apartment, clean and well equipped. The host is a wonderfull lady, although she doesn't speak english, there were no issues in understanding eachother. The closest beach by foot is 15 min away and it involves going down and up over 50 stairs.

Excellent apartment, extremely clean and comfortable, with everything you may need at your disposal. The roof terrace was amazing - magnificent views, very convenient for use - it is not part of the apartment, but is easy to access and entirely at guest's disposal. The location is quite good - there are lots of shops and taverns nearby, there is a beach, accessible on foot, but many better options are available through a short drive. The center of Kavala is some 15-30 minutes on foot, depending on the path chosen - the shortcut requires some climbing up and down steep stairs/streets, while there is a seaside road that takes you to the center in a bit more time, but without any effort and includes some spectacular views. The hosts were even more hospitable than the usual for Greece. We only communicated with phone translation, but had no issues at all. The communication on Viber was perfect and immediate, and we got along very well with the lady that met us and received back the keys. There are enough parking options in the area and the neighborhood is really quite and seems completely safe.

Very kind hosts. Anastasia welcomed us with homemade cupcakes and donuts with cheese. She sent us off with a small gift - a handmade refrigerator magnet depicting her apartment's logo. The whole apartment shines with cleanliness. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils and tools for preparing, serving and consuming food and drinks. The roof terrace was kept daily in perfect condition and was only at our disposal. Fresh ground coffee and sugar were left for us. The bathroom had extra towels, enough toilet paper and toiletries. The mattresses are soft and very comfortable. Internet is fast

Everything was amazing, all the small details from start to finish, including some home made goodies ready for us at arrival. The terrace has a great view, enough space for a family of 4 (even more if needed) Great host! Thank you for everything !

Kavala is built on hills so you need to go up and down steep hills to get to the accommodation, so the location for people that are not used to go up and down hills and walk a lot, is not the best.

The hosts are very nice, the accommodation has everything you could need. It was good to be there.🙂

Amazing view on the terrace. The host was waiting for us with pies and cakes. Location is good, 20 minutes from the old center.

Everything was very well. You have to climb a bit when you return from the city, but that wasn’t an issue for us. The lady who welcomes you doesn’t speak English, but you can always contact her neice in case you need.
