Sanny's Place

The apartment offers a breathtaking view and is very clean, with all the amenities you could need, including a coffee machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, towels, etc. The location is perfect, around 15 minutes walk from Kavala Port, where you’ll find multiple restaurants and shops. Sanny, the host, is welcoming and always ready to assist, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for a comfortable and convenient stay!

Take into consideration that the location is on the hill, Kavala being an amfiteatre so you must take into consideration there there will be some stairs to climb. It is not neccessary negative, depends very much if you focus on the view.

The view was nice

I was really looking forward to my stay based on the photos, but unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing experiences I've had. The property did not live up to the vibrant and cozy look shown online. It’s clear that the place isn’t well-maintained, with outdated furniture and equipment that seem to be from the 90s. For the price, I expected much more, especially given the positive reviews and my previous experiences in Kavala. The lack of mosquito nets was a major issue. In a location like Kavala, nets are essential, and without them, we were kept awake for two nights by mosquitoes. Given the health risks associated with mosquitoes in this area, it’s surprising that nets aren’t provided. Not everyone can sleep with the AC on, and having to buy anti-mosquito devices just to get a good night’s sleep was frustrating. The terrace/garden does offer a great view, but it’s covered with an odd linen sheet that detracts from the experience. Also, if you’re planning to enjoy the garden in the evening, be prepared to bring your own lighting, as there are no lights provided. Additionally, there is no washing machine, so longer stays might require you to ask the host for laundry services. The host was generally okay but seemed very focused on minimizing costs, even asking us to only use the AC while we were physically in the house, which felt unreasonable given the nightly rate. The location isn’t ideal, as it's difficult to return without a car or taxi. The only real positives were the quiet atmosphere and the proximity to the main road to Nea Peramos. It’s worth noting that the house is three floors with a connecting door that the host assured us was locked, but it still felt uncomfortable knowing there was potential access. We didn’t experience any issues with this, but the host’s dog would often come down the stairs, barking or crying near us, which affected the sense of privacy. Overall, my stay was very disappointing.

Close to the centar of the town, just a few minutes away, but tiring climbing stairs and uphills to get back.

I really loved how clean the apartment was 😊 and also loved the view. The host Sanny welcomed us very warm and friendly. The place provides everything that you will need and even more, soft blankets and towels, a variety of cooking utensils, all kinds of pots for those who love cooking and many more things that make you feel the comfort of your own home. The apartment is located near the center of Kavala but in one of the highest points of the city. It's really challenging to make it to the top walking and with car through those narrow streets, but after all that's the charm of Kavala and in the end the amazing view will not make you regret the effort. Bonus is the fact that if you travel with car there is always spot to park 👌. Other is the situation in the center...

I really liked it. Sunny apartment with a terrace with stunning views of the city, sea and sunset. 10 minutes to the city center and a large supermarket. 3 minutes to a walking trail to the mountains with beautiful views. Hospitable, attentive owner Sunny. The kitchen has everything you need. Coffee maker for filter coffee. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner every day on the terrace. Thanks Sunny for a great time
