Bliss Lisbon Apartments - Bairro Alto

The location was excellent, right in the heart of nightlife and restaurants, and close to the main attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful; when we asked for extra toilet paper and towels, they kindly provided them.

The overall cleanliness could be improved slightly, and there was occasionally a mild smell coming from the kitchen, which was noticeable at time.

Very steep steps to get to the first landing once in the property.

Location was good, internet was fast, interior was pleasant, no real problems.

The door code was a bit long to enter every time, but its understandable.

No me gustó tener que esperar a hacer el check in hasta las 15.00 de la tarde y encontrar que el apartamento no estaba limpio de verdad (tenía hecha como una limpieza superficial). La mampara de la ducha estaba sucia, había algún que otro pelo detrás de la puerta del baño, las toallas eran pequeñas para ducharse y el sofá del salón tenía un protector que tenía manchas como oxidadas. El baño tampoco tenía colgadores para las toallas después de ducharse. Además, solo nos dejaron 1 rollo de papel higiénico.

My experience at Blice Hotel was terrible. First, the building has very difficult stairs to climb. I currently have a broken leg, and it was extremely hard for me to go up the stairs. This information was not clearly communicated beforehand. When I arrived, the apartment was dirty, dark, and in very poor condition. It honestly felt more like a prison than a place to stay. The hygiene and overall environment were unacceptable. Because of these conditions and my injury, I could not stay there. However, the host still charged me for one night and an additional €80 cleaning fee just to cancel the stay. Overall, this was a very disappointing and stressful experience, and I would not recommend this place.

My reservation was cancelled 40 minutes before check-in for somewhat unbelievable reasons. They offered me 50 minutes from the location of another apartment, causing some stress. The full refund arrived quickly, that was fine, but it's not easy to wander around without accommodation. Fortunately, it was solved thanks to a professional hotel close to the apartment.
