"The apartment itself was a bit disappointing, location great."

The location was fabulous

The second bedroom and bathroom were extremely small. The kitchen and bathrooms had been redone, but the rest wasn't wonderful.. The towels and linen were worn. The apartment also needed a thorough deep clean, including curtains , windows, under furniture etc. Fortunately, at least the location was very good.

Location next to the beach was perfect

Air con leaked onto floor making it slippy and side lamp in bedroom faulty - reported to owners who came back promptly. Washing machine isn’t in apartment.

The fact I had to go fetch the keys and yet there is a reception at the premises where I could have gotten or left the keys
