"Homely apartment - a great Point Waterfront experience"

We've stayed in numerous places around Durban and this place had the best views in Durban! It overlooks the entire Ushaka Marine world. We watched a few dolphin shows from the apartment in the distance. Watched huge ships coming into the port. SmartTV and good Wifi. Aircon functioned perfectly. Big dining room table. Large balcony with a braai stand. The place has lovely spacious common areas. Host was responsive and even called me to let me know when we would have loadshedding at the apartment. Well-equipped kitchen. Very clean and super comfortable. 3 separate showers & additional guest toilet were so useful. We felt really safe, secure undercover parking for our SUV and car. We didn't hear any noise from the street. Super cute area. Ushaka is directly across the street. We walked straight through it to the beach, restaurants & promenade. We will definitely be back.

There were little snags like shower door missing in the main bedroom but nothing that caused any discomfort at all. We informed the building management who was responsive and very helpful so we're sure it will get fixed. Also at no fault of the hosts, the Durban beachfront is contaminated and we couldn't swim in it but we definitely did dip our legs - there are lovely showers at the beach where you can rinse off.
