Crossways Tavern

Very helpful host, who made sure we had a twin room even though theoretically not available on theBooking.com website. They also found us a secure place to keep our bikes overnight. The property is situated between the motorway and railway, but there is no noise issue. The mini kitchen has a fridge, microwave and kettle, so adequate for self-catering. Very good value for money.

Lovely apartment for a stop over. The apartment is very clean and a very comfortable bed. The shower works great, very fast. Sheila, the host, was fantastic and literally couldn't do enough for you, very friendly and all-around lovely lady. Would definitely book again. Good value for money. Thanks once again .

The apartment was lovely and had all the facilities we needed for our stay. Sheila, our host could not have been more helpful throughout the weekend. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to explore Devon and all it has to offer.

The property is well presented and quiet.

There was no hob or cooking rings for a self catering apartment, We had booked assuming there would be and had planned our meals around there being some cooking facility. The bathroom was passable but could have been cleaner. The exterior of the property needs some work.

The Crossways is an ideal stopover for work or pleasure, in a rural location. The compact apartments can sleep up to four people and have good facilities, fridge microwave etc. There is a good supply of tea coffee etc. Sheila was most helpful when we made the booking, and very accommodating. This is the second time we have stayed here, and I would not hesitate to stay again.

For meals there are pubs a distance of 2 or 3 miles away.
