Spacious, clean and comfortable

Reasonable price - so value for money.

The tavern didn't appear to be open. We were looking forward to relaxing over a drink after a day out and about.

Convenience to M5 , warm , spacious

Two excellent pub restaurants within five minutes driving distance. Easy to find, good access to Collumpton and to Exeter. Nice clean rooms and good apartment size. Possibility to prepare microwave meals and a fridge. Easy to walk from car to apartment, as I have mobility issues this was ideal. I feel the owner could highlight this advantage for potential guests. We used the room for a family and so was a cost effective option.

The pub and bar are shut so felt a little misled by the marketing, the picture of the rather tempting bar in the ad should be removed. It is driving distance to nearest pub restaurant. There are breakfast places in Collumpton which are superb but you need to drive. Some noise from the nearby railway and motorway. Double bed was ok but the sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable and could have used a thicker matress.

Host met us on arrival, showed us around and shared the keys

The village is very quiet and sadly the Tavern itself is now closed so quite quiet, not alot to see and do in immediate vicinity without a car but as a comfortable and welcoming place to stay we had no complaints.
