From the moment we arrived at Sweet Meadow Lodge we felt so comfortable and at home. We had an extremely friendly welcome, and the gorgeous breakfast tray was such a lovely and generous surprise from the hosts. The accommodation is beautiful, clean, well equipped and extremely comfortable and snug- perfect for a weekend getaway. We also can’t forget to mention the beautiful cat that made a very welcomed visit and made our stay even more special. Thank you so much to the great hosts!

We stayed here whilst visiting Salcombe and the local area. The property location is very close to Exeter and the west of Dartmoor. It also close to many National Trust properties, such as the beautiful Killerton House that is only a 10 minute drive away. The accommodation would be an ideal stop for one or two nights on the way to Lands End and Cornwall for long journeys. The cleanliness was excellent. It was a real pleasure to stay here and we look forward to coming back in the future.

This is an absolutely lovely property in a great location for exploring Devon. It was very easy to find and the owners were very friendly and helpful. The place is decorated and fitted to an extremely high quality and the area was quiet and peaceful (don't be put off by the proximity of the airport, we didn't hear a single plane all weekend). This is about as perfect as a place to stay gets.

Absolutely nothing. I guess visitors with mobility issues may struggle with the staircase to the mezzanine bedroom, but apart from that mild warning I'd say this is an excellent choice of place to stay

Really sweet and unusual property on a farm setting. I loved the little touches like breakfast left out for us with local produce, books to read, bathroom supply’s and a quirky first aid box full of anything you might need. Hosts Pete and Josie were super helpful while still managing to respect our privacy.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Met at the property and was made welcome. Spotlessly clean. Welcome tray with milk, eggs, bread, coffee and tea and more all provided. Quiet area but close enough to Exeter and the airport around 10 mins drive. We stayed for our convention at Westpoint arena.

Was not so keen on the spiral staircase and low roof in bedroom but that's it really. The rest all good.

The breakfast tray was a lovely addition, local eggs and fresh fruit, bacon and bread. Beautifully decorated apartment with superb attention to detail. Pete and Josie are exceptional hosts and really had thought of everything to make for a perfect stay.
