Bright flat in Lauder Centre

We just needed a bed for the night in Lauder and this place was fine for what we wanted.It was easy to find (on west high street) and it was no problem to park right outside it.The heating was easy to use and it had all the things we needed in the kitchen.It has a pulley and we used it to put all our wet clothes on (they were soaking after nearly 4 hrs of walking in the rain).Nice hot power shower.

It was mostly very quiet at night but it was on the main road so you heard trucks etc going by.All the other hotels in Lauder are on the main road so it would have been the same at any of them.Traffic is limited to 20mph through the village so the noise is not really bad.

Great flat easy to find everything at hand had a very pleasant stay

Spotless . Bed settee easy to operate and very comfortable. Very quiet.

Very clean and well equipped including milk in the fridge when we arrived.

Good location on the main street towards the end of the village. Parking was on street but easy enough to find space nearby. Older property but in reasonably good order throughout. Central heating was very efficient providing a comfortable environment during a cold and wet weekend. Perfectly adequate for a weekend break.

We felt that the kitchen area let down the rest of the property in terms of cleanliness. It was not dirty by any means but small things like wiping out the fridge interior, thorough cleaning of oven tray, toaster slider and interior , inside cupboards would have been a better first impression. It onlt took five minutes and some elbow grease to sort it !! ( No complaint)

Everything was as advertised. Would stay here again
