Augusta 229-5E-City Center Apt- Balcony & Elevator

Pleasant, comfortable apartment with good beds and good amenities. Functional elevator, so no problem getting larger luggage to the 5th floor. Two bathrooms were great, especially when traveling with teenagers. Quick and helpful communication with the landlord. The location is perfect, close to major attractions and public transport.

Perhaps the living space was a bit small for four people, but it wasn't really bothersome. In one of the rooms, there is quite a bit of noise from the outdoor air conditioning if you open the window in the evening. I recommend earplugs :).

Can't say enough about how fortunate we were to have found this gem of a place! We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. The apartment was a tad small but very well- appointed. It had all of the amenities and facilities that we needed for a family of 4 adults. The location is amazing. It was right on Rua Augusta by Rossio square. The street is a pedestrian walk only. The entire area is bustling with restaurants, shops, entertainment, groceries, etc... We were able to walk everywhere! You are close to various Lisboa districts and can walk there if you want or take a ride share or public transport which will be right outside your doorstep. Best of all, Liliana and her team were very responsive to our needs and questions. We would definitely return to this place and stay even longer. They also provided a great book/manual for most of your questions. Love this stay!

If you like a more quiet street, this may not be for you. But the apartment is quiet and well insulated from the outside noise.

Best location in Lisbon. Clean, modern, 2 large bathrooms, balcony with view of one of the main streets. Dozens of restaurants, stores, and landmarks withing walking distance.

Wife said it would be nice if it had a large mirror. TV is only available in the living room.

The location is very good ! The stuff is really helpful and approachable

The shower is hard to control and adjust the temperature. Not easy for elderly parents to use.

The apartment was very clean, newly updated and has excellent location. The space was well thought out. We loved having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for our family of four. We also had nightly live entertainment from just outside the apartment which was a plus for us.

The door handle for the fridge had some issue. They offered to fix it for us. But it really was such a small deal that it didn’t bother us much.

Great location, close to two metro stations and lots of restaurants. Nice rooms and reasonably good amount of space for 4 of us - two adults, two teenagers. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen and other appliances were useful and in good shape. Lots of electrical sockets in all rooms and bedrooms so made it easy to charge phones, cameras, laptops, etc. We weren’t planning to use laundry, but came in super handy when we got caught in rainstorm and returned wet and muddy.

Nothing significant — only three minor quibbles: 1) not enough hooks/places to hang items, especially when wet from rain and also especially in bathrooms; 2) main bedroom bathroom has bathtub, and the fixed glass shower-wall limited ability to get in and out of tub easily (some safety grab bars would have been useful), and it would have been difficult if our kids were young to give them bath; and 3) shower faucets looks very sleek but very sensitive to setting temperature. Again, all these issues are fairly minor, but good to be aware of — this was best place in Europe we’ve stayed at so far.
