The welcome from Basson & his son - both made us feel at home & we really appreciated the offer of a lift when we left - thank you again :-) The place is well equipped re: all the home comforts & we LOVED the compimentary (freshly made) biscuits on our arrival; very thoughtful

Place can do with a little dash of paint in places . And the main photo is a bit misleading as it is not part of the actual cottage

Accomodation was very mncwaa Mr Nel hes the one whu accomodate us we ddnt feel loadshedding everything was reserved stll gnna go there soon

This is huge thank you to Mr Nel, when we were traveling and it was raining heavy, Mr Nel popped us a message telling us to travel safe as it was raining heavily, we got to our location and Mr Nel was waiting for us and was very helpful and friendly and didn't take to much of our time as I'm sure he knew we had a long journey traveling, at first the wife was a bit skeptic and felt like it wasn't for her but the place grew onto her and enjoyed her stay😊 and didn't want to leave 🫣, everything was central and we didn't have to travel toooo far to get things, I would recommend the place to any couple just wanting to get away from the crazy life and enjoy the peace and quiet. Once again thank you to Mr Nel... we will definitely be booking again when we are in George for another holiday😊

The only thing was the wifi signal was bit bad but that wasn't an issue as I always keep my wifi dongle with so was always connected.

The host was super friendly and very welcoming. I love the ambience of the place and the beautiful garden. I will definitely recommend it to friends and family. I also loved the welcoming gift of the rusks and chocolate .....very thoughtful.

The location was perfect and owner so friendly and helpful.

The couch is so comfortable 🤗 love that they had a gas stove as well to accommodate to this difficult times of LS It's very peaceful and we caught a perfect timing of rain and mist during these hot days. Super relaxing

Made a tiny mistake opening the bedroom window and somehow a big spider came in and chilled in the bathroom 😅 luckily I didn't see it and hubby got rid of it.
