great central location close to everything

there was nothing, not to like. Clean, comfortable,quiet,with nearby free parking

We loved the location and the cleanliness and the fact that it had a full kitchen and washer/dryer combo.

Would like to have WiFi and A/C or at least fans and window screens to keep the masses of mosquitoes out. The full sized bed is smaller than we are accutomed to and towles were rough and only a couple small ones provided. The kitchen could be better stocked. It can be moist in the evenings. but that is fine because you are in the middle of all the action.

Clean, modern apartment with a super location! There are two beaches in Gijon - One fancy which gets more or less flooded by the tide every single day and then there is a less crowded more calm beach which is also great. Well, that beach is right across the street from the apartment and the other is reachable on foot within say 10min, including dragging your kid and her body board with you. In short - you are setup for a great vacation!

There is not much to complain about, but if we have to nitpick, the sound level from the street stand out. The windows are modern and isolated, but as soon you open the windows the street noise becomes noticeable to the point of being loud (there is a bus stop right in front of the main windows). It is the downside of the great central location I guess. It was not a major issue for us. Also, parking is not too easy, if you arrive by car. There is a free parking not too far away, but it is constantly full and the next best option is a parking garage for €12/24h. Again, this is an effect of the very convenient location.
