Great location for us as we had no car and were attending a wedding at Hexham House, a minutes walk away. Slept well and the shower was good, although tall visitors may find the low ceiling a challenge. Love old listed buildings so we appreciated the character. Surprisingly quiet for a town centre location with old single glazed sash windows.

The small ironing board made preparing for the wedding a bit of a pain and parking wasn’t ideal if we had decided to drive. We traveled light, but some people may find the stairs and fire doors challenging if having heavy cases. We couldn’t get the thermostat to work to get the heated towel rail on (kept saying no signal). Hit my head once on a low door frame but soon learnt when to duck!

The location of the flat was perfect for exploring Hexham and many of the sites along Hadrian’s Wall. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bed was comfortable and the tea and coffee tray was a thoughtful touch. We had a very enjoyable stay!

Parking was limited but there was plenty of free parking less than five minutes walk away.

The apartment was superb in every way. Location - excellent. Fittings/fixtures/furnishings - first class. Loved our stay.
