The lock box did not work. After waiting for about half an hour we were given another code that worked. the property was not the one we had booked in Studley Drive. the flat was extremely hot and not all the doors opened. i have been very well since being there as a result of mutli bites from bed bugs. as a consequence, we left after one night

The property was walking distance to the Newbury Train Station and had easy access to Ilford. It was also close to shops and buses.

It was very difficult to gain access the property as information on how to access was provided in dribs and drabs. I was asked to contact the property when I got to the door to be provided with the keylock code, so there was an assumption that I had phone access which was not straight forward coming from overseas. All 3 washing machines provided in the apartments were always full, as were the 2 dryers, for the 4 nights we were there. Two of the 3 apartments had very compact bathrooms, where it proved difficult to sit on the toilets The backyard was unappealing as the tables and chairs were not clean. As for the cooking utensils not much was provided, not even knives for preparing food. Overall, this property was very expensive for where it was and for what was provided. For us it unfortunately as a lastminute choice because of a change in our booking in Ilford. It is unfortunate that we cannot ask for a refund from a place so disappointing.

The location was fine and convenient for where we were working at Clayhall. Although overshadowed by the North Circular and Eastern Avenue overpass traffic noise was not a problem for us. The host was helpful. The accommodation was clean and the beds comfortable.

Interconnecting bedrooms - fortunately my friend didn't mind me walking through his bedroom during the night.
