LovelyStay - Turquoise River View I

I like the top view seeing the cruise ship, quiet neighborhood, comfy stay, kitchen equipped, cozy sala. Clean and hygienic. Very good beddings. Restos and late night shopping are available even late at night.

The place is not easily found, need a clear instructions to get into the place. I suggest to give specific instructions with transport to take (Bus/Tram/Station//and landmarks could help) since a lot of staIrs going uphill and very small alleys that is even more confusing and misleading. At night arrival, this is more difficult to locate by first timers - going up and down the stiff stairs particularly if carrying big luggages is really a pain!

The location and air conditioning is good.

There is a damp problem in the bedroom, very evident in the wardrobes that the cleaners try to mask but can be smelt throughout the flat. The shower does not drain quick enough so the shower floods, which overtime has warped the door/floor so that the bathroom door cannot be closed. I reported these issues to the hosts on our 1st night but they failed to act/were not remotely interested.

Bathroom was really small and would have liked more towels.

First, the door of the building does not have a number. It took exactly half an hour to find the door, as the owner is confused between the buildings and doesn’t tell which door relates to which building. Once I arrived, there was no electricity. I had to wait for an hour until the electrician came, then, he couldn’t solve the problem. He offered to either go to another apartment or continue staying at the candle light. They offered a bottle of wine to shut me up. After I moved to the other apartment, they wanted me to sleep over the night, and move again the following day after the fix the problem. Then they called me the following day and asking me to move, which I declined because I was in the city centre. The guy told me that if I call booking, they won’t help me and I have to move to the other apartment. So I moved on the following day. Terrible customer service, I have been there for three nights and I had to move twice. Shitty situation and I don’t recommend. They are very rude as well.

Shower drains are clogged. Rats are running over the rooftops, and the bed mattresses are very cheap and uncomfortable. The pillows are terrible. What a nightmare.

Great location in Old Town. A good sized space for two people

Flat could do with a bit of TLC. Smell of damp a little in the living area and mold around the windows

The property had a lovely view. The property had coffee machine, and everything you needed to cook a small meal. It was nicely decorated.

The mattress was unbearable. We did not get any sleep! There was wire running the whole way through it. Please see pictures! We got up and was aching all over. We had booked three nights stay. We decided to leave after the first awful night. We are now trying to get a refund. They have not agreed to a full refund if even though the bed is not fit for purpose. Do not stay here!! You will end up having to book other accommodation as you will not get any sleep. There are stains on the carpet too. This property could have been ok if they provided an adequate bed.

Towels could of been bigger and newer
