Lisbon Castle Apartment

It's an amazing location. You're inside the castle area and it's really pleasant to return 'home' there every day. I also liked how quiet the place was at night. I liked that the walk-in shower was a very good size. It was great to have an oil heater and also the AC which could be used for heating. The LUDO's cafe which is 3 metres from the front door is fantastic, especially if you can get a seat outside in the sun.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. There are just some improvements that can be made. The place is a little tired. The walls and the skirting boards could use refurbishment. The USB outlet doesn't work. The shower leaks. The fridge made a very loud noise. We managed to fix that, but I'm sure it's temporary. The bedroom smells a little bit of stale linen. The bed was un-useable with the mattress topper, as it was very soft and uneven. Without the topper the actual mattress is very good.

Steep climb from drop off point to apartment, particularly with luggage.

An absolute joy from start to finish. Perfect place to stay for a week exploring Lisbon. The apartment was cosy, clean, tidy and suited our needs completely. The bed was SO comfortable as well! Slept like a log every night. And I loved the balcony, just watching the world go by after a day out. Loved everything about it.

Nothing to dislike. It was that good.

This place is a hidden gem. Catarina, the host was very attentive, and answered our questions right away. We liked that is was cozy and charming place, easily shared with two people. The bed was comfortable, there were plenty of towels, kitchen was well equipped. There is a nice cafe down from the studio that has really nice brunch options. Over all really liked the place. Will book again.

The fridge in the kitchen was making the noises on an off. but we just closed the kitchen door to low the volume. Overall it was not too bad.

excellent location in the old part of town and well appointed apartment loved the Cafe next door and good proximity to other sights and restaurants etc

The room was spacious and comfy. The host were responsive. It felt like home.

The climb to the top of the hill was less desirable but that’s Lisbon.

Really large space, comfortable lounge and a fully fitted kitchen. TV available if you need it and a nice cafe next door. The property owner was fast to respond when we had an issue with no hot water one evening.

The property is upstairs and there are small and steep stairs to get in and out, so we always had to be careful. nothing could be done about this but renters need to be aware.

Great apartment in the Castle walls. Very quiet at night. Well equipped kitchen.

Even though there is only one apartment you still have stairs at the entry to access the apartment which are quite steep if you have large suitcases.
