I had a wedding in Santorini but needed to work for a few days, so when I started my research, I tried to find a place that could fit both needs: rest and work. That’s when I found Ahilli Slow Living, which checked all the boxes! Price is important, but quality shouldn’t be forgotten. At this place, you’ll find the perfect balance! It’s located in a quiet neighborhood, close to Kamari center and the beach. You won’t need to walk more than 10 minutes — even at a slow pace — to have your feet in the sand. In the area, you’ll find markets like the Carrefour (Big Red), local grocery stores, many restaurants, pubs, and cocktail bars. About the apartment: I was traveling alone. I needed a quiet place to focus during my workdays but also wanted to be near restaurants and the beach to enjoy the island. Ahilli was exactly what I was looking for! The rooms are spacious — enough to accommodate a small family of four. The apartment is fully equipped for cooking and laundry, clean, organized, and well-ventilated. If you’re visiting during the peak summer months, don’t worry — the air conditioning works perfectly throughout the apartment. And after a day at the beach, the shower is amazing! The kitchen is great for quick meals, breakfast, or dinner. It has all the appliances you might need: a coffee maker, oven, vitroceramic cooktop, and a nice fridge. Plus, there are plenty of plates, cups, and glasses, so you won’t need to worry about a thing — just enjoy your trip. I would rate the apartment 10/10, but what truly exceeded my expectations were the owners. They are incredible! From day one, Mrs. Margarita was extremely helpful. A special thank you to Mrs. Nikolina — such a kind, polite, and helpful person. She explained every detail of the house and showed me how everything worked. I’m truly happy with my stay at Ahilli Slow Living, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a great place in Santorini with excellent value for money!

We had a very nice connection with the host, who was very helpful and very kind with her time and advices. Enjoyed her sharing her home with us as well as her culture so we feel much more at place.

Even though it is southern Greece in spring, bring clothes in layers as it can get cold and windy

Margarita was so helpful, kind and went out of her way to show us where the local bus stop was, as well as other great tips for our stay. The apartment was lovely and very clean, super close to the beach & local shops too.

I suppose the shower takes a little while to heat up, but really it's such a small issue because the apartment is 10/10.

Very clean, spacious apartment, off the busy centre of Kamari. It was comfortable, exactly what expected. Margarita (host) was very helpful, good communication with her.

At this apartment you feel like you’re very special. The host is always there and ask if you need anything. We would definitely go back.

Margarita's brother met us and hosting us wonderfully. The house had everything you could need. We will definitely come back to this house.

The communication by the owner/ family was exceptional, any questions, problems and queries were answered within hours and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment contained everything we required and was within easy reach of all local facilities and local transport.

We would be prepared to return here one day but would choose the upstairs apartment which would provide a little more privacy from the road.
