POMBALINO! Lisbon Concept Apartments

This is a very comfortable and clean apartment, right in the centre of Lisbon. Miguel is an excellent host. He gave us great recommendations, and was really helpful.

We had an excellent stay at this apartment. I am a very regular traveller and like to be fair and constructive in my reviews. The apartment is in a fantastic location very close the centre and was very quiet even being in the city centre. we felt very at home and could easily have stayed longer. The apartment is very well equipped and has many kitchen and bathroom essentials in case you have forgotten or only carry hand luggage. Lots of hot water and beds comfy and apartment clean. Host was very friendly with excellent communication and information. I can't really fault anything and was towards the top of place I have stayed during my travels. I would highly recommend to anyone.

The standard check in time of 4pm is quite late compared to many places I have stayed internationally especially when we arrived on an early morning flight so had to hang about. To be fair thought the host allowed us to leave bags and we got in earlier so it was a minor inconvenience that probably won't affect everyone. Like others mentioned the apartment is in the attic above floor 5 so many steps. This didn't affect us at all other than improve our fitness and of course actually makes the apartment quiet as it's so high up. worth mentioning though in case you have mobility issues.

The location of the house was excellent. It is possible to reach many touristic areas on foot. Many places were even closer than they appeared on the map. The house was very clean and all our needs were available in the house. When we first arrived home, a bottle of wine and some snacks were waiting for us. After a tiring journey, these treats were wonderful for us. Our host Miguel is very helpful. He gave us a list of places to visit in the city and answered our questions quickly. Miguel made our life easier. I spent 3 nights in this apartment with two friends and we all left very satisfied with the apartment.

I can't say anything negative, but it was sometimes difficult to climb the stairs to the 6th floor after a tired day, but it was not too tiring. The stairs are not too steep and it is possible to rest.

Location was excellent being close to a number of attractions, transport links and we were spoilt for choice for restaurants, bakeries etc. We were met by the host and a generous welcome basket full of local treats. Nothing was too much trouble. Apartment was fully stocked with towels, linen and essentials. Wife and daughter were very happy to find a range of good quality toiletries too. A number of reviews mention the stairs but they were not a problem for us in our late 50s with basic fitness. Apartment was quiet and had everything we wanted for our stay. We loved Lisbon and we will look to return someday. We will stay here again.

Miguel is super passionate, nice and helpful, provided much useful tips for travelling around! Perfect location, cannot be better. With the popular sights and good restaurants around. Nice Apartment with everything we need.

It is on the fifth floor without lift. For us it wasn’t a problem.

Excellent, clean apartment very near the central spots in Lisbon. It is in the heart of downtown but quiet at the same time. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. Recommended!

It was on the 6th floor with no elevator, which was challenging. However, the excellent location in the heart of Lisbon made the climb worthwhile!

We love everything except we are a group between 60-70 years old. A little difficult for us to climb up stairs with luggage’s.

The apartment was clean, bright and airy on the 5th floor of an older walk up building in the heart of the Lisbon historic district. It was quiet for sleeping, well equipped, and Miguel was a very kind, generous and accommodating host, meeting us at check in and touring us through the apartment. Lots of restaurants and sights in the neighbourhood.

Be warned, if you are not physically fit, or have large suitcases, there are 116 steps up to the apartment! Also the lights in the stairs are on very short timers, and would occasionally go out before we reached the top, leaving us in the dark until we could feel around for the switch on the next landing. We chalked it up as part of the adventure!
