Small attic rooms in Kaunas old town

I loved everything about my room. It might be small to some but it had everything I needed. Also a big plus was the attic window that allowed me to look at the sky at night and the floor heating!!! I slept super comfy and was really struggling to decide if I want to stay a few days more. Also there is a really good restaurant attached to it. 10/10

Maybe people 1,80m and taller might have a problem with the ceiling height since everything is rather small and low built.

The house was very clean, the bed was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was very tidy. There was a washing machine. The location was good, close to the main street of the town, and it had good reception.

Everything was good. We wanted to experience an attic room, and it was great. Although, we did hit our heads on the ceiling a few times 😂. And there were no baggage service for after your check out.

Close to central

The room was called small apartment. It's not apartment, it's just a tiny single room where fits only 1 single bed and there is no space for any other furnitures and I had to keep my stuff on the floor. The room was at least twice smaller then in the picture, where apart from bed were also some other furnitures. The same bathroom - in the picture was even washing machine in the bathroom , in my bathroom apart of small cabin shower only was space to fitting small sink (cloakroom sink). When I spoke to person who was at the desk I was told that that room in the picture (which I booked) is not available and he didn't care much about that and started to ignoring me and to doing something on the laptop. I do travel a lot and I haven't felt so disrespected by management like in this case and showed that totally doesn't care about customer.

Comfortable small room, close to castle and river. All in all a good place for a short stay.

They insisted on taking a picture of my ID for the check-in. Not a good practice in terms of handling personal data. They said they delete the picture after check-out, and I do believe them, but still enough time for the picture to go into some cloud... Unlocking the door to the room by calling some number was a bit cumbersome, but worked well.

Cute room, easy to find and good location just by river with lots of cafes around and maybe 15 min walk from old town. Only stayed for a night but very clean, big modern bathroom, super comfy bed and easy system to get in- be in touch with the owners and have working smartphone to open the door

Accessing the room using the call-to-unlock door system was very difficult as I have an international cell service provider. The host is not responsive via the Booking app, so I had to call multiple times to try to get access figured out, and the only solution was to try repeatedly to add my number and wait for the system to update. This added a lot of hassle to my afternoon. But if you have a normal European cell service provider, you should not have this issue.
