Apartment Baixa/Chiado view Tagus

The location was perfect. Beautiful view from the balcony. Very close to the Metro station. There was good communication with the owner and we were welcomed upon arrival.

We had to climb four flights of stairs every time we come in from sightseeing. The bathroom was not great.

Excellent location. Very close to the metro, walk to the river, food and shopping outside your door. Very close to most places of interest. Very good communication with the host.

Building has no lift for the 4th floor with unstable worn wooden stairs. Paint peeling off the wall in the stairwell. The wood floors are creaky and very uneven, and some of the boards flex and bend under your feet. Because the floor is uneven and slopes, the beds also slope to one side. The AC works well for one room but the rest of the house does not benefit. If you leave the bathroom window open when taking a shower the house will smell like the Chinese food the restaurant below is making. The shower is so small that if you turn around most of the time you will hit the handle and get very hot water. There are businesses on floor 1,2, and three. So there is foot traffic on the stairs that is loud.

we’ll, there are quite a few stairs, but our host was so nice and carried luggage up for us!

The location is very central. The apartment is in an old building, which has its charm. It was a very comfortable and lovely stay with very hospitable and friendly hosts. We had no issued and would be happy to return here in the future.
