Alfama Cozy Loft

We liked being in such an ideal part of Lisbon. The Cozy Loft is in a good position for exploring the district and public transport is quite nearby for going further afield. We walked a lot..fortunately both of us are fit which helps, considering the hills. The apartment is light, comfortable and quiet with a view between the roofs of the river. We both slept very well helped by having good mattresses and modern windows which means it's sound proof and dark. The kitchen has everything needed for simple meals. There's a cafe right opposite which serves a good breakfast and basic small shops just along the street for a few groceries. Also, there's a great variety of restaurants very close by. The owner sent extremely good, easy to follow instructions on how to access the property plus a great deal of information and links about places to visit.. I thought that was so thoughtful. He made it clear that we could have contacted him at any time if we had needed help.

The location is perfect. It has a beautiful view. It's a quiet part of the Alfam neighborhood. There are 3 coffee shops nearby. There are also some good restaurants nearby. The kitchen is well equipped. It's a very comfortable and cozy apartment.

The bathroom is very small, and the water pressure and hot and cold water are sometimes unreliable. The stairs are narrow and steep, but the view makes up for it.

Wonderful flat with all possible furniture. Great helpful host with excellent hospitality and assistance. Romantic view to the river and roofs from the cozy balcony. Perfect location in the heart of historical area Alfama, directly in restaurants and souvenir shops area, in 5 minutes to the underground station, in 1 minutes to the promenade.

No deficiencies or issues with the apartment or service, only one comment for people with additional weight or size, sick knees or big luggage (sorry:)) - the flat is on the 4th floor with no lift and enough tiny shower cabine. In any case, this is not a big price for living in a historical center with a romantic view and great hospitality.

The apartment has everything you need, incl. fully equipped kitchenette, also very comfortable beds. It's very bright and there's a great view towards the cruise ships port which is a big bonus. It's surprisingly quiet when windows are closed, considering the narrow streets and the buzz below. A bottle of wine was waiting for our arrival. We enjoyed it while watching the ships departing from the port. It's very close to everything - airport, center, train station, metro. Last but not least - the owners were very helpful - providing immediately any kind of assistance or information we needed.

Nothing, if it's a family of 4, I'd say too tight, the spare room is super small.. no windows. Maybe for a child, although my friend did sleep in it. All condos in Alfama are tiny thou. It was an amazing stay! Thank you!

Perfect location. Air conditioning. Washing machine. Good communication with the host.

A bit small for a family.

It was a relaxing place to return to after busy days exploring Lisbon. There was everything we needed in the apartment and we were very close to transport links and traditional restaurants. The beds were very comfortable. The hosts were very helpful recommending how to spend our days. Would thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful location to see Alfama and all things Lisbon and beyond from there. A beautiful view . The property has natural light , well stocked, very comfortable . Luis and Carla were wonderful, friendly, responsive hosts, met us on arrival with lots of suggestions on activities

It does involve stairs to the beautiful loft which are doable and add to the whole experience

Attractions, museums, cathedral, viewpoints, myriad of restaurants, fado music, 28 tram all just a few minutes walk from the door. Roof top view to hear and watch the world go by. Very comfortable bed. Greeting by helpful and enthusiastic host gave a personal touch so often lacking in a world of key boxes.
