La Doña Studio

Ariana wrote to me as soon as I made the booking, confirming and letting me know that the place would be ready for my arrival time. The day before I arrived, she followed up with detailed instructions and welcomed us so openly. When we asked her questions about the location and traveling from the airport, she send over detailed information and was a huge help. She has been in constant communication throughout our stay and never takes more than a few minutes to respond to my questions. She even made sure to change the main pass code to a number that would be easy for me to remember. She also gave us plenty of tourist and sightseeing information. Best service I've received in a long time. The rooms are beautiful and we equipped. The cleaners come through regularly and you have all the amenities available. It's super clean and well designed. The rooms have towels, toiletries, cooking material, coffee maker and little thoughful gifts from the host. There is also gated parking available. Couldn't have asked for more! Gracias linda!

This is not an issue with the place, but a general weather/climate thing - for anyone that is bothered by humidity, La Paz is fairly humid and that does seep into anywhere you will stay. The AC helps a lot with this and Ariana does her best to make sure the rooms are always super clean. But this is just an FYI for anyone that's expecting something different.

Great little studio room. Easy walk to the waterfront. Host gave very clear instructions for check in, including photos. Room is cosy and well equipped.

Very little. The room was cramped and uncomfortable. As such we decided to cut our losses, apply for a partial refund for the nights we weren't going to stay, and stay elsewhere. Most unpalatable of all was that the refund policy through booking.com gave us the option of a partial refund, which the host, by continually avoiding and obfuscating the issue, managed to avoid giving us at all. That's not a good way to do business

Bed was comfortable & great shower! Owner has gone to the trouble to decorate with cute little touches - welcoming kitchen counter set up. Netflix a plus. Morning coffee & bottled water provided.

This is advertised as a 1 bedroom apartment ("you have the entire apartment to yourself"). IT IS A STUDIO ROOM in a building where I guess other rooms were also converted into studio rooms. Expected more space to relax in although what fotos show is accurate. Also, construction a bit flimsy (door jamb not sealed, had to finish adjusting bathroom window install so it would close properly) and windows open to common spaces so able to hear occupants (every cough, talking) in adjacent rooms & cooking smells overwhelmed around dinner hour. Had to remake the bed - top sheet turned wrong/short way! It is an ok place, especially for the price, just not for me.

very well presented, bathroom was very nice, came with mini toiletries and the property manager was very attentive to our needs.
