This property is a furnished condo in a safe location on a hill overlooking La Paz Bay. There are many properties for rent up in the neighborhood and I have stayed in a few others so can compare Also, I had a long term stay (5 weeks) for work, and have a car, which is essential as there is a long hill to the Malecon. This condo complex has many different units and they have different furnishing and views. I stayed in 2 different ones here. That said: 1) The complex is safe, quiet, 24 hour security, with 2 good pools for lap swimming and a great gym which I used. 2) The units I stayed in were well appointed, had new appliances, well stocked kitchen utensils and spotlessly cleaned. I appreciated especially the washer/dryer unit I stayed in Unit 9. 3) The walls are thick and I was not bothered by noise from other units. 4) I chose to move to Unit 9 as it was on the top floor, on a corner, with a view --through 1 window--of the Bay. Unfortunately the master bedroom and living room picture windows look out onto the parking lot, so I usually left those blinds closed. Many of the units had no view at all and only windows that looked out onto public areas or parking lot. 5) Maintenance man is on site and responded quickly to any issues. 6) Great wifi. 9) New AC units every room.

1) The rental units are managed by a property management company, you don't deal with the owners. This made it very difficult to modify the reservations. When I tried to add days, it took over a week to resolve. Working with booking.com is very difficult, just kept getting repeat bot messages. 2) Big sticker shock: the room rates quoted are not the final price. Between the taxes and "fees" my bill came to almost $1000USD more than what was the room alone. This was too expensive for what one got and higher than other comparable units in that neighborhood. 3) The bathroom floor is slick as ice when wet. This is a common problem in many rental units in La Paz--but this marble flooring was really bad. No shower mats or rugs provided. Finally I had to use a towel in the shower floor. It is super dangerous and slippery, 4) The parking is secure, but tight, you can only head in and then have to back out. Only the gatekeeper can open the electric gates, so you sometimes have to wait for them to see you and open. 5) Only 1 cart for getting luggage and groceries up to the units, had to wait for it to become available.

The pools were lovely

We booked a suite with pull out and no bedding was supplied we had to strip our beds to make sure everyone had bedding called several times but was told there were no sheets or blankets for the pull out ... called the next moring and spoke with the host and were were supplied bedding.
