The Jill and Jack bathroom was a bit small and the wash basin was too near the WC and difficult to use.

Clean, welcoming, generous bedrooms with high ceilings, plentiful hot water and underfloor heating, the living / dining / cooking space worked perfectly for our group of 5 including x 20+ adults, parents and a 95 yr old grandad. Recent conversion with wide doors and corridor. The owner responded promptly to any queries.

Lovely location within easy reach of places to visit like Durham and Beamish. Beautiful clean cottage and fresh eggs on arrival were nice surprise.

Beautiful 3 bed cottage which is spacious, well equipped, ideal for families and disabled people. Perfect in every way possible for all the family with 2 walk in showers and a bath. Spacious living area where the owners have placed books, dvds, games a lovely touch 😊 and speaking of lovely touchs personal bath robes in the wardrobes and towels with the name of the farm very unique 😀. Lovely to return to once the area was explored 😍

On the outskirts but once you get your bearings you'll be fine 🙂

Lovely location and cottage. Comfortable and well equipped

Lack of storage and hanging space in the jack and Jill shower room for what could be 4 guests. Plug doesn't work in hand basin. Needs shelves for our own toiletries and hooks for towels. The grill pan and oven were both very dirty and need a proper clean. No plug for sink so wasn't possible to wash dishes (or grill pan!) by hand.

Great cottage, everything you could need was there, spotlessly clean, comfy beds and perfect for the family member who is visually impaired and needs a walker to move around. She enjoyed the safe environment and being able to shower and move around safely.

Enjoyed everything, perhaps a top up on board games (we took our own Scrabble for visually impaired players) for those rainy evenings
