Literie : nous étions 5 et nous avons tous eu mal au dos ( du plus jeune au plus vieux) Pas de clim mais un ventilateur/ rue extrêmement bruyante donc impossible de dormir là fenêtre ouverte Salle de bain en panne ( on nous a promis un dédommagement mais rien n'est venu) La seule salle de bain en fonction était en triangle donc très très petite (sans fenêtre donc impossible à aérer... à 5 le bonheur !) Table de cuisine bancale, nous avons dû la déplacer pour pouvoir s'asseoir et la caler

Very noisy, the shower facilities are horrible, worst shower of my life.

Trying to figure it out what was good…. The location is convenient, and that is one of the few positives.

The apartment was very moldy. The photos provided online did not accurately reflect the condition of the place (apparently a consensus and I did not pay attention). Upon arrival, it was clear that the apartment was much older and in need of significant renovation. All the rooms appeared quite worn out. Another major concern was the shower. When my son was taking a shower, he accidentally bumped the faucet, which caused the hot water to turn on suddenly and he got burned. This is a serious safety hazard that needs to be addressed immediately. The apartment does not have an elevator, but that was not a major issue considering the area. The price is reasonable, but given the condition of the apartment, it doesn’t meet the expected standard (at all). The street is quite difficult to access by car, as it’s restricted to local residents who have a special pass. Without a pass, accessing the area by car is not possible, and parking costs 25 euros per day with no direct access to the apartment. Moreover, there are several restaurants across the apartment that are quite noisy, making it hard to sleep at night. While the location might be appealing to some, especially if you want to be in old Alfama and nearby, I personally did not find it comfortable or cozy. Overall, while the location MIGHT BE a plus, the apartment’s condition and safety concerns overshadow any benefits. It’s definitely in need of a serious overhaul to meet even basic expectations.

Location is perfect to hub from, but be aware that there are restaurants with tables outside at the ground floor, contributing to a vibrant and sleepless Lisbon night life (and drunk passers-by even more). Bless those earplugs!

Pictures absolutely do not pay tribute to the real level of wear and tear of the flat. (we are talking about a toll gate that has seen a looooot of heavy-duty lorries). Only one smurf-sized towel for two nights (maybe that's because they knew I was Belgian).

Cleanliness, privacy, and pictures were totally misleading.
