Poppy house in Anjos

The unit was very clean for being in an older building, the washroom could use few upgrades. For the most part it’s equipped with modern appliances. The place is very spacious. The building is quite secure and they have a heavy duty lock for the unit. The sunroom patio makes up for it as you can get views of the water and the hills of Lisbon. Also, it’s very quiet, which is a huge bonus. The hosts are very accessible and great with communication. Huge bonus is the Metro Station is literally outside of the building entrance, steps away.

The place is located in a melting pot and heavy immigrants neighborhood with various ethnic groups which for some may feel uneasy. Also, sometimes there’s homeless people right outside the building entrance or quite harmless and they don’t really say anything to you. They’re only there to sleep. Overall it’s evident Lisbon is going through mass immigration, specially in there major touristy areas and it can’t feel unsafe at times, especially if you’re so low or not in a big group. These are based on personal preferences but I did not feel unsafe as a solo traveler as the locals grew on me, having been in Lisbon for almost a week.

Lovely secure apartment with all the facilities. Our host met us at the apartment and explained everything. Communication with her was very easy. We traveled with our 2 little kids and the space was enough for us.

A few homeless people near the entrance of the building. However, the building was secure and those people seemed very harmless to me. They were completely non-violent and just were there to sleep.

Very nice size, clean, comfortable, it had everything you needed.

The elevator is very small, two people max. The room is on the 6th floor

I liked the location because it was very close to the Metro and had everything you needed very close ( restaurants, supermarkets, bus and metro stops). Also the apartment is big enough for a couple. Overall a nice stay in Lisbon.

They could pay a little more attention at the cleaning. And the sink and shower drain should be fixed because the water doesn’t drain properly.

Very nice appartment with great location (close to metro station). The appartment was clean and very quiet. The communication with host was very professional (we have received all necessary information before our arrival).

Perhaps a little too far out of the centre than we realised. Takes around 15mins to walk in.

Nice terasse, great view. Located right next to the metro so, easy to get to different landmarks. Old but functional building.

Maybe not the best location but metro station made up for it. Some things were missing like garbage bags but host was communicative.

Great location, very close to the metro which will take you to most important places quickly.

The apartment is nice, very quiet and well equipped. Ana and Ricardo are very helpful. They welcomed us in person and answered all our questions. The metro is vey close and brings you quickly to the city center. We do recommend this place !
